General Information

What kind of experience is SURA?
​
SURA is a hands-on Korean cooking class designed for international guests.
You will prepare a complete Korean table using seasonal ingredients, learn about Korean food culture, and enjoy the dishes together in a small-group setting.
Is the class suitable for beginners?
Yes.
The class is beginner-friendly and no prior cooking experience is required. All steps are clearly explained, and guidance is provided throughout the class.
What language is the class conducted in?
All classes are conducted in English.
How long does the class last?
The class lasts approximately 3 hours, including cooking, dining, and cultural explanations.
Booking & Participation

Can I join the class alone?
Absolutely.
Solo travelers are very welcome. You may join a small group or book a private session if available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants?
There is no minimum number of participants.
Classes run even if only one guest is booked.
To maintain a premium hands-on experience, group sizes are intentionally kept small, and a maximum number of participants applies per session.
What happens if I arrive late?
Late arrival does not qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
Guests arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time may miss part of the experience.

If you have food allergies, including nut allergies, it is very important that you inform us in advance.
Please notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at least 48 hours before the class so we can prepare accordingly.
While we take great care in food preparation, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Is the class insured?
Yes.
SURA operates with valid business liability insurance in Korea.
Is the space accessible?
Our studio is located in a traditional-style building.Elevator access is available via the parking area, though some areas may still have minor level changes.If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can assist or advise accordingly.
Photography & Media
Will photos or videos be taken during the class?
Yes, photos or short videos may be taken for marketing or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in photos, please inform us before the class begins.
Cancellations & Refunds
What is your cancellation policy?

What happens if SURA cancels a class?
If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or rescheduling option.
Location & Preparation
Where is SURA located?
SURA is located in Bukchon, Seoul, near traditional hanok neighborhoods. Detailed directions will be provided after booking.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Aprons are provided.
